The Whole Thing in One Paragraph
If you do not want to read the whole page, here is the short version.
You call us. Tom answers. We talk about what you need for 30 minutes. Tom gives you a quote on the same call. Most projects start at $3,000 and go up from there. If you say yes, you pay a 50% deposit and sign a contract. Debbie and her team take it from there and run the entire design and build. If your site requires training, Debbie's team handles that before launch. Site goes live when the balance is paid. After launch, all updates go to Debbie's team and get turned around in 24 business hours. Forever.
That is the whole process.
The Full Process, Step by Step
Seven steps. No surprises. Every one of these is something we do on every project.
1. How does it start?
You reach out. Phone, email, or the contact form. The call goes straight to Tom. No sales reps. There is no one in the middle.
Tom is the person who will write your quote, the person who decides if we are a fit, and the person you can call ten years later.
The first conversation usually runs about 30 minutes. Phone works. Zoom works. Whichever you prefer.
2. What do we talk about on the first call?
What you do. What is not working with your current site. What you wish your site did. What your competitors are doing.
Tom will probably point out two or three things you had not thought about. What AI is changing in your industry. What new buyer behavior looks like. What features your competitors are missing.
The goal is not to sell you. The goal is to figure out if we can actually help you.
3. When do I find out what it costs?
On the same call. About 99.5% of the time, Tom gives you a quote before you hang up.
You do not have to wait three days. You do not have to sit through a Powerpoint. Most projects start at $3,000 and go up from there depending on what you need.
Tom will give you a real number on the phone, not a range.
4. What does it take to get started?
A 50% deposit on the design fee and a signed contract. That is it.
No upsells. No "starter package" hidden behind a "premium package."
The contract is plain English, fits on a couple of pages, and says exactly what we are building, and what it costs. Deposit clears, contract is signed, you are in our build queue.
5. Who do I work with during the build?
Debbie Damiano. Debbie manages the entire design and build process, working with her team to handle the design, content, photos, and everything else that goes into your site.
You will hear from her regularly. She will tell you what she needs from you, when she needs it, and what is coming next. If anything goes sideways, Tom is still on the phone.
Day to day, Debbie is the person you will hear from.
6. What about training?
If your site has an administration area, an auction platform, or anything else your staff or members will need to use, Debbie and her team handle training before the site goes live.
That might be a screen-share walkthrough, recorded video tutorials, written documentation, or a webinar for your members. Whatever fits.
Training is built into the project. You do not get an invoice for "training hours" at the end.
7. What happens at Go Live?
When the design is approved and the balance of the design fee plus the first hosting fee is paid, we Go Live.
All the technical stuff behind the scenes is on us. You do not need to know about any of it. We handle it.
You wake up the next morning and the site is live. We watch the site for the first few days to catch anything that needs adjusting and fix it before you notice.
After Go Live. The Part Most Web Designers Skip.
This is where most firms cut you loose. We do the opposite.
After launch, your site is what we call "update-ready." Any update you need, any time, gets sent to Debbie's team and gets turned around in 24 business hours.
Forever. As long as you are a client, this never changes.
What Counts as an Update?
Most updates are simple. Add a horse. Change a price. Fix a typo. Swap out a photo. Update an event. Those are unlimited and go to Debbie's team for 24-hour turnaround at no extra cost.
Some things are bigger than that. Building a brand new online form. Adding a whole new section to your site. Setting up a new admin tool. Those go beyond a normal update, and we always quote them ahead of time before any work starts. You will always know what something costs before we begin.
Why This Process Is Different
Most web design firms drag this out for weeks. They want you to sit through sales calls. They want to send you proposals. They want to keep checking with their team and getting back to you. We do not do any of that. You call Tom. Tom gives you a quote on the call. Debbie and her team get to work.
"You do not get to talk to a sales rep, because we do not have any. You talk to Tom, then you talk to Debbie and her team. That is how it works."
What It Costs to Start
Every project is different, but the structure is the same. Three things to pay, in this order. Everything gets quoted before any work starts. You always know the number before you write a check.
50% Design Fee Deposit
Paid when you sign the contract. This locks in your build slot and gets the work started. Most projects start at $3,000, and the deposit is half of whatever your project is quoted at. Refundable inside the first 28 days under our 28-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
50% Design Fee Balance
Paid at launch. The rest of the design fee for your project. You see the finished site, you approve it, you pay the balance, we launch.
First Hosting Period
Paid at launch. Annual hosting typically starts at $750 a year. Some clients pay annually. Some pay monthly. Whichever works for you. Covers hosting, security, and unlimited normal updates with 24-hour turnaround.
Common Questions About How We Work
How long does a typical project take?
Most projects launch in 2 to 6 weeks. Auction platforms included. The biggest factor is how quickly you can get us the content and feedback we need. We have launched sites in as little as a week when the client was on top of things, but that is not common. We do not lock in a written timeline. We just tell you 2 to 6 weeks, and it goes faster when you are responsive.
Do you work with clients outside the United States?
Yes. We work with clients across the United States and Canada. Most of our communication is by phone, email, and video call, so distance is not an issue.
What if I am not happy with the design?
That is what the 28-Day Money-Back Guarantee is for. If you are not happy with your site in the first 28 days, we refund your design fee. You do not have to argue with us about it.
Do I have to write all the content myself?
No. We have a separate service for that. See our Tell Your Business Story page if you want us to write your site copy. Most clients use a mix. They write what they know best, and we write the rest.
What if my needs change halfway through the project?
They will. They always do. We expect it. Small changes we just do. Bigger changes (like adding a brand new online form, for example) get quoted before any work starts. No surprise invoices ever.
Will you train my staff or my members on the new site?
Yes, if training is needed. Debbie and her team handle training before launch. Screen-share walkthroughs, recorded videos, written documentation, or live webinars. Whatever fits your team. It is included in the project, not a separate fee.
Ready to Start?
No sales pitch. No pressure. Just a 30-minute conversation with Tom about your business, your site, and whether we are the right people to help. If we are not, we will tell you on the same call.
