Important Setup Hints

  • DETAILS are critical when setting up email. One typo will cause it to fail! Be careful when entering your information and if it fails, double and triple check the settings as that will be the problem 100% of the time.
  • IMAP - When given a choice always choose IMAP type of email. NOT POP, ActiveSync or MobileSync. ONLY IMAP!
  • DELETE FIRST - When setting up on a phone/tablet, delete the existing account first and then adding it back with the new settings is the simplest. This ensures all settings are correct. Don't worry, you will not lose anything.

First Steps

  1. Access your email in a browser - http://email.YOURDOMAINNAME.com OR https://webmail.emailsrvr.com/ Here you can set up password recovery options, spam settings, change passwords, etc...
  2. Access the Email Support Center for instructions to set up your email on your phone, tablet or software (ex. Outlook) - https://webmail.emailsrvr.com/mobile or top-right icon when logged in to your account. More details below.
  3. When updating Outlook settings from GoDaddy to the new system (not starting from scratch) use this link for instructions and all the necessary settings are below.
