Chief" is a dark sorrel gelding with a white star, strip and snip on his face. His mane and tail are a golden flaxen color. He is a full brother to Dianes A Winner and has an incredibly sweet disposition. Chief has had 90 days of professional training and spent two weeks at the trainer working cattle - doctoring and gathering. Started on a bosal and did great. He is now riding in an o-ring snaffle. He stands 14.2 hh and is low enough to the ground to get off of quickly. He has a nice hip and strong, stout chest. Chief will make a great working cow horse. He trails, tracks, pens and sorts. Suitable for sorting or team penning and has lots of cutting ability. In addition to his athletic abilities, Chief has a great mind and gentle disposition. He is light in the mouth and on the leg and moves out real nicely. He gets along with other horses and trailers, ties, stands for the farrier and just has great ground manners. He has trailed by himself and with other horses. He loves attention and is ready for the right owner to take him home.
